the hotel is brilliant, has welcoming staff in all areas. the location is great and beautiful, minutes walking distance from a bus stop, truly enjoyed it. for lunch or dinner go to ca' leon, located minutes away from the property.

The location is excellent both for arrival (only minutes from both ferrovia and bus) and for taking vaporetto for sight-seeing, still quiet. Although the room was not too spacy we did not suffer from inclaustration and the bath was of proper size. Good value for money in short. The top attraction was breakfast, delicious, abundant and accompanied by friendly service.
To mention one negative: there were only 4-5 Italian channels. One would expect some news in English, music etc.

The hotel was an easy walk from the bus drop off point, Piazzale Roma, and an easy walk to the train station, with only a couple of bridges to drag luggage over in each direction. We arrived about 10pm so the late checkin was a plus. Also thought the staff were very obliging, and the breakfasts were amongst the best we encountered on our holiday. The room was also very comfortable with a large bathroom.
Whilst the room was comfortable, it was a bit of a squeeze with the furniture and two suitcases. Our room looked into the walls of another building which was a pity, but not a big issue because we were only there for three nights.

The location was very near all transportation and restaurants. One of the staff Vern was very helpful.
The other desk clerks beside Vern were very unfriendly .

Great location very close to bus center. Very nice common areas - lobby & breakfast room, very friendly staff. Good breakfast selections.
Did not get requested wake up call.

Staying at gardena was fantastic! It's super close to the main bus and train stations. Our classic double room was large, airy, and beautifully decorated with venetian murals. A standout was the lovely breakfast buffet, especially the pear cake! The staff were helpful, storing our bags while we explored.
